As a certified teacher with a Bachelor's degree in Inclusive Special Education from the State University of New York College at Cortland, I have over seven years of experience in both tutoring and classroom environments. My passion lies in teaching reading and math, as I have witnessed firsthand how these subjects can ignite a student's confidence and academic growth. I prioritize building meaningful relationships with my students, personalizing lesson plans to align with their interests and skill levels. Utilizing strategies such as guided reading, scaffolding, and real-life examples, I strive to create a supportive and engaging learning atmosphere. I find immense joy in those "light bulb" moments when a student overcomes challenges, and my goal is to ensure every learner feels seen, encouraged, and capable of success.
