As a passionate educator with a Master's degree in Kinesiology from San Jose State University, I have over 25 years of experience teaching and tutoring subjects such as Anatomy & Physiology, Strength & Conditioning, as well as preparing students for the MBLEX and NASM certifications. My teaching philosophy centers on tailoring lessons to meet individual learning styles, utilizing question-based techniques to foster critical thinking and engagement. I believe in connecting theoretical knowledge with real-world applications, drawing from my extensive background as a strength and conditioning coach and personal trainer. I am dedicated to helping students achieve their academic goals and develop a deep understanding of concepts that will benefit them in their professional pursuits. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy staying active through fitness and exploring new training methodologies.
