Certified Tutor

As a passionate educator with a Master's degree in Library and Information Studies and a Bachelor's degree in English literature, history, and political science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, I have experience teaching English at both high school and college levels. My tutoring focuses on reading, writing, and information literacy, as well as test preparation for the ACT and SAT. I believe in fostering a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable discussing their goals and tailoring our sessions to meet their individual needs. My time as a teaching assistant at UW-Madison and Head Advising Fellow for Matriculate at UW-Madison has equipped me to guide students through the college application process, particularly in crafting compelling essays. I am dedicated to helping students improve their skills and confidence, making learning an engaging and collaborative journey.
