I am a Tufts University graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Cognitive and Brain Science (Psychology). I've had previous experience teaching to English as a Second Language students but am open to all looking for a dedicated and supportive tutor. Due to my education, I am confident in anything Psychology related, but have also developed strong writing skills and proficiency in writing essays and research papers. I also have a strong grasp of the Japanese language, having studied it all four years of college and spent a semester abroad at a language-intensive program in Kyoto. We currently live in a time in which AI can provide an easy shortcut to remove any thought from average school assignments, but I believe that students looking not just to pass exams but to truly understand the material will have a massive leg up on their competitors when it comes to college, career, and beyond. I focus on imparting why subjects are interesting in an attempt to generate an intrinsic desire to learn more, not just to check something off a list. I spend much of my free time reading science-fiction books, playing games with friends, and going for bike rides.
