Isaac: Norwalk tutor
Certified Tutor
As a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) and veteran bilingual educator, I specialize in helping learners at multiple stagesfrom elementary students building foundational reading and writing skills to graduate students navigating the rigor of an MSW program or preparing for the LMSW exam.
With a strong grounding in clinical theory and real-world application, I guide MSW students through coursework challenges, case conceptualization, and theory integration, offering support that bridges academic expectations with practical, compassionate practice. I also help LMSW candidates break down test contentlike biopsychosocial assessment, ethics, and DSM-5 criteriainto manageable, meaningful lessons that build both knowledge and confidence.
In addition to my clinical background, I bring over a decade of experience as a public school educator, where I've developed and delivered trauma-informed, culturally responsive instruction in reading and writing. I've led campus-wide trainings on SEL and literacy, supported multilingual learners, and designed differentiated curricula that help students find their voice through language.
Whether I'm supporting a graduate student with theory-to-practice integration or helping a young reader master text structure, I create warm, engaging, and structured virtual spaces where learners feel seen, supported, and empowered to grow.

I love walking my dogs, tending to my plant babies, and reading psychological and trauma-informed theories. I enjoy creating educational resources, exploring folk spirituality, and listening to my favorite artists on repeat. I also find joy in playing video games, watching scary movies, meditating, and spending time with my family.
