Certified Tutor

I'm a rising senior double majoring in Data Science and Japanese. As the oldest of ten children, I've naturally grown into the role of a tutor, helping my siblings and their classmates for as long as I can remember. Growing up in a bilingual household, I developed a deep passion for language education, which has inspired me to pursue a full-time career as an English as a Second Language (ESL) teacher after I graduate this coming spring.

While I specialize in ESL instruction for learners of all ages, I'm also qualified to tutor elementary, middle, and high school English, as well as beginning Japanese. My tutoring sessions are centered around patience, adaptability, and creating a space where mistakes are not only accepted but encouraged. I take pride in tailoring each lesson to fit the individual needs, personality, and learning style of every student.

I encourage my students to challenge themselves in their language learning journey, and take joy in the process.
