As a passionate educator with a Master's in Literacy & Technology from Walden University, I have over five years of experience teaching and tutoring students in grades 6 through 12, specializing in AP English Language and Composition, Creative Writing, and High School English. My teaching philosophy centers on building strong relationships with my students, fostering a supportive environment where they feel valued and motivated to succeed. I believe that when students know I care, they are more willing to engage and put forth their best effort. My love for reading drives my teaching; I often create interactive lessons around novels to help students connect with the material and develop a passion for literature. I am committed to helping each student find their voice in writing and to inspire a lifelong love of reading.
