Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of the University of British Columbia. I received my Bachelor of Applied Science and Masters of Applied Science both in Electrical and Computer Engineering. I love teaching students to help them grow and expand their knowledge. When I was in high school, I worked at Kumon Learning Centre, where I tutored both Math and English. I made the tutoring sessions fun for the students by being my energetic self and encouraging them when they made advances. When I became a Masters of Applied Science student at the University of British Columbia, I was a teaching assistant and taught students electrical engineering courses. I conducted tutorials for the students and helped the professor with lectures. The students loved my classes as I was able to teach them key concepts and made sure they practiced enough to retain the new knowledge. I am a very patient teacher and love seeing students understand new concepts. While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about Math, Science, English, and Electrical Engineering. In my free time, I love reading, painting, playing tennis, and Pilates.
