Hello! My name is Alec Holland. I'm a licensed CPA with a Master's degree in Accounting from the University of Oklahoma and four years of experience in both public and private accounting across multiple industries. I also bring over two years of tutoring experience, specializing in Financial Accounting, Managerial Accounting, Cost Accounting, and CPA exam preparation.

My passion for teaching comes from a desire to make accounting not just understandable, but also engaging. I believe it's essential to understand the "why" behind accounting principlesnot just memorize the rules. I connect complex concepts to real-world applications to help students truly grasp the material.

My tutoring approach is highly adaptable. I take the time to understand each student's unique learning style, whether they benefit more from visual aids, hands-on examples, or interactive discussions. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy watching and playing sports, especially golf. I love traveling, exploring new places, and spending quality time with my wife and our two dogs. I also enjoy cooking and trying out new recipesespecially when it means a great meal to share with family.
