As a passionate tutor with a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology from Alice Lloyd College, I have cultivated a robust understanding of math and science, excelling in subjects such as Algebra, Anatomy & Physiology, and Biology. My experience as a substitute teacher has allowed me to connect with students across various age groups, from elementary to high school, adapting my teaching style to their unique needs. I believe in a step-by-step approach that not only helps students solve problems but also builds their confidence to tackle future challenges independently. My goal is to create a supportive learning environment where curiosity and engagement flourish. Currently pursuing a master's degree in education, I am eager to inspire students and share my enthusiasm for both the sciences and literature, fostering a love for learning that extends beyond the classroom.
