As a passionate educator with a Bachelor's degree in Music from the University of Southern Mississippi, I have over 15 years of experience teaching various subjects, including AP U.S. History and AP World History, alongside my true passion for music education, particularly guitar and piano. Currently, I serve as the Director of Choral Arts at West Harrison High School, where I strive to create engaging lessons that connect with my students' interests. My approach emphasizes making learning fun while ensuring students grasp essential concepts, as seen in my music lessons where I incorporate relevant songs to enhance understanding. I genuinely enjoy fostering a love for learning in my students, believing that when they have fun, we all succeed together. In my most recent adventure outdoors, my son and I embarked on a sailing adventure in the Florida Keys where we did lots of snorkeling and fishing.
