As a passionate educator with a Bachelor's in Math Education from Jackson State University, I have over 20 years of experience teaching middle and high school mathematics, including Algebra and Geometry. My approach to tutoring is rooted in understanding each student's unique background and learning style, allowing me to tailor lessons that effectively build their confidence and skills. I believe in creating a supportive environment where students can explore math concepts through hands-on activities and scaffolded learning. My goal is to ignite enthusiasm for mathematics, helping students not only succeed academically but also appreciate the beauty of the subject. Outside of teaching, I enjoy exploring new teaching strategies and nurturing my love for mathematics through reading and research.
