My name is Drew Hughes and I am a state certified high school teacher living in St. Augustine, FL with my wife and three kids. My area of concentration is Social Sciences with an emphasis on US and World History.

For the last 17 years I have worked in both collegiate and professional athletics as Player Personnel Director for multiple SEC football programs as well as a 3-year stint in the NFL with the Jacksonville Jaguars. In May of 2024 I decided to make a career change to spend more time with my family and returned to my roots in the teaching field. I currently am a high school teacher in St. Johns County, Florida teaching Business and Sports Marketing.

Throughout my professional experience in both sports administration and teaching, I have quickly learned the importance of efficient and clear communication. I have always been fascinated my history, and my goal is to create a fun, collaborative, and creative learning experience for students to achieve success! I look forward to working with you!

I enjoy outdoors, fishing with my kids, spending time with friends and family, traveling, and sports!
