As a dedicated tutor with over five years of experience, I am passionate about helping students succeed in math and science subjects, particularly Algebra, AP Biology, and AP Chemistry. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Honors Biomedical Sciences from the University of Houston and am currently a medical student at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. My teaching philosophy centers on meeting students where they are, tailoring my approach to their individual learning styles, whether they are visual or auditory learners. I believe in building strong rapport with my students, which fosters a supportive learning environment and enhances their ability to grasp complex concepts. My experience includes tutoring in both private and school settings, where I have had the privilege of helping students achieve academic success and pursue their educational goals. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy exploring scientific literature and engaging in hands-on experiments, which I often incorporate into my lessons to make learning more interactive and enjoyable.
