With over five years of dedicated tutoring and classroom experience bolstered by my current roles as an adjunct professor at Purdue Global and Miami-Dade College I bring both academic rigor and real-world expertise to every learning opportunity. I specialize in core cybersecurity domains, including CISSP and CompTIA Security+, as well as broader topics such as cloud security, incident response, and ethical hacking. My teaching philosophy is rooted in adaptability: I tailor each session to the student's unique learning style and pace, fostering a supportive environment that promotes critical thinking, skill development, and career readiness.
Drawing from over 25 years of leadership in enterprise cybersecurity, U.S. military cyber operations, and Fortune 500 risk management, I help students bridge theoretical knowledge with practical application. Whether preparing for a certification exam, exploring the fundamentals of security architecture, or navigating real-world risk scenarios, I emphasize context-driven learning and principle-based understandingskills that endure long after the exam is passed.
My students range in age from 17 to 70, and I take pride in helping each one build confidence and competence in a fast-evolving field. I continuously refine my teaching methods through engagement, feedback, and hands-on content, including simulations, labs, and scenario-based discussions. Above all, I am passionate about mentoring the next generation of cybersecurity professionals and helping them thrive in both academic and professional environments.

I enjoy golf, continually work on obtaining a certification or degree, and love to travel (having visited 52 countries so far, with 10 years of living overseas), Cruises have become a family favorite lately. Some might say my sports tastes are full of disappointment: LSU, New Orleans, and Buffalo for football, and then Toronto for Baseball, Basketball, and Hockey. I love to grow connections with people and try to bridge the gap in areas where people aren't commonly aware that a solution exists.
