As a second-year neuroscience student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, I am passionate about fostering a love for learning in my students. With over 2 years of tutoring experience, I have worked with a diverse range of learners, including those from underserved backgrounds, helping them build their skills in subjects such as math, biology, and reading. My teaching philosophy centers on adapting my approach to each student's unique learning style, using hands-on activities and real-world connections to make complex concepts more accessible. I find immense joy in guiding students through their academic challenges and witnessing their growth, whether it's a young learner discovering the joy of reading or a high school student mastering algebra. In addition to tutoring, I also teach piano, which allows me to connect with students across different age groups and interests. I am excited to continue making a positive impact in the lives of my students.
