I became passionate about helping students after struggling to adjust to the fast pace of college-level STEM courses during my freshman year. That experience gave me a deep appreciation for how much support and encouragement can impact academic success. During my junior and senior years at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, I served as a teaching assistant for both general chemistry and molecular biology lab courses, where I worked closely with students to reinforce key concepts and build their confidence in the lab and classroom. I graduated with a Bachelor's in Molecular and Cellular Biology and am currently applying to medical school with the goal of becoming a sports medicine physician, a path inspired by over 15 years of experience in competitive gymnastics.

I tutor biology, general and organic chemistry, anatomy & physiology, EMT prep, and MCAT topics. Biology is my favorite subject to teach because it's the science of life itself, there's always more to learn, and I love helping students make sense of how the body and the world work at a molecular level. My tutoring style is hands-on, interactive, and tailored to each student's learning needs. I like using analogies, step-by-step practice, and active recall techniques to make complex topics more accessible.

I like anything gymnastics related, photography, sports medicine, exercising, traveling, spending time outdoors, and connecting with friends and family.
