Certified Tutor

I am currently studying sociology and anthropology at Cornell College. Though my tutoring experience comes from helping students prepare for the SAT, I am most interested in more specific areas of learning within the humanities. Two of my favorite classes in high school were AP Human Geography and AP World History, and I would love to impart the passion I have for those topics onto others. I believe that an essential part of learning is fostering a strong feeling of curiosity, something that can only happen in an environment in which a student truly enjoys their studies. My teachers went out of their way to make those classes fun and engaging, and I want to do the same for any student that I instruct.

When not teaching, I enjoy going to the museums around my city, reading both fiction and nonfiction, thrifting, and playing video games.
