My name is Tyler Dixon, and I am passionate about tutoring because it allows me to inspire a love for learning while tailoring my approach to meet each student's unique needs. I hold a Juris Doctor from Cornell Law School and a Bachelor's in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University. With experience tutoring elementary and middle school students in subjects like math, reading, and writing, as well as LSAT preparation, I have developed effective methods to engage students, especially in virtual settings. My teaching philosophy centers on making learning enjoyable and accessible, ensuring that students not only understand the material but also feel confident in their abilities. I am committed to fostering a positive learning environment where students can thrive, and I look forward to helping them achieve their academic goals.

My favorite hobby is playing the viola and piano. I love all things music! I also enjoy reading mystery novels. One of my favorite things to do on a rainy day is snuggle up with a great book and a hot cup of coffee.
