As a dedicated tutor currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in English, Writing & Rhetoric at Scripps College, I am passionate about instilling a love for reading and writing in my students. With multiple years of tutoring experience, I love to tutor in ACT English, AP English Language and Composition, and academic/creative writing. Most of my experience centers around middle and high school students. My teaching philosophy emphasizes guiding students to discover answers independently, building critical thinking and confidence in their abilities. I believe that each student has unique strengths, and I tailor my approach to meet their individual needs, ensuring they develop essential skills for academic success and life beyond schooling. My love for words extends beyond tutoring as I actively engage in internships and workshops to refine my writing skills. My active strive for improvement improves my ability to inspire students daily. My end goal is to make reading and writing even simply a bit more enjoyable, imparting students with the tools they need to thrive.
