Kanishk
Certified Tutor
Hey there! I'm Kanishk N, a first-year undergraduate at Case Western Reserve University, studying Biology and Healthcare Management. I've always been passionate about learning, but more importantly, about helping others learn in a way that actually makes sense.
With a strong academic foundation in STEM, I've tackled everything from AP Calculus and Chemistry to Psychology, Biology, and Microeconomics. But let's be real, success in these subjects isn't about memorizing formulas or stuffing your brain with facts. It's about understanding why things work and learning how to apply that knowledge in a way that sticks. That's exactly what I focus on when I tutor: breaking down complex topics, making them digestible, and, dare I say, even enjoyable.
Beyond the classroom, I've had plenty of experience teaching and mentoring. As a Senior Patrol Leader in the Boy Scouts, I've led teams, coached younger scouts, and even organized hands-on learning experiences (nothing teaches problem-solving quite like setting up camp in the dark!). I also volunteered with the Princeton First Aid and Rescue Squad, where I learned to stay calm under pressure, communicate effectively, and teach critical skills in high-stakes situations.
My approach? Adaptable, engaging, and results-driven. Everyone learns differently; some need structured lessons, others need real-world applications to make things click. Whatever your learning style, I'll tailor my methods to help you succeed.
If you're looking for a tutor who is not only knowledgeable but also genuinely invested in your success, let's get started. Whether it's STEM subjects, test prep, or just getting organized, I'm here to help you learn smarter, not harder.

Outside of academics and research, I’m deeply passionate about music — I play the drums, piano, and guitar, and love bringing creativity into my daily life. I’m also dedicated to fitness and bodybuilding; I’ve gained over 30 pounds of lean muscle in just six months through discipline and smart training. I enjoy inspiring others to push their limits both mentally and physically. Additionally, I love volunteering in underserved communities, helping students discover their potential in science. These hobbies keep me balanced and driven to be my best self, both as a tutor and as a future medical professional.
