I am a proud graduate of Rutgers University, where I earned my Master's in Education with a concentration in Special Education. Over the years, I've worked with students in grades Kindergarten through fifth grade across a variety of educational settings. From traditional classrooms, co-teaching inclusion models, pull out resource rooms, Title I programs, and one on one tutoring. My teaching background spans general and special education, and I have experience supporting students with a wide range of learning needs, including dyslexia, Autism Spectrum Disorder, gifted and talented, and twice exceptional learners. Currently, I serve as a third-grade special education teacher in a public school inclusion classroom, and I am passionate about bringing that same level of commitment and personalization to my online tutoring sessions.

What drives me most is the belief that every student is unique and capable of success. I am passionate about helping students discover their individual strengths, build confidence, and develop a lasting love for learning. Supporting students as they grow both academically and personally is not only my job, but also my personal mission. I believe that when students feel safe, supported, and genuinely understood, they are more likely to take ownership of their learning and persevere through challenges.

As an online tutor, I specialize in English Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies. I integrate engaging, hands-on approaches using interactive tools, digital manipulatives, and personalized instruction. My tutoring style is warm, structured, and adaptive. I tailor each session to meet the specific needs of the student. Whether that means strengthening foundational literacy skills, building number sense, or diving into a science topic with curiosity and creativity.

I am trained in the Wilson Reading Program and Fundations. I also understand the value of data informed instruction and use both formal and informal assessments to guide learning, track progress, and celebrate every milestone, no matter how small.

At the core of my teaching philosophy is inclusion, differentiation, and connection. I believe in cultivating a positive, encouraging virtual environment where students feel comfortable expressing themselves, asking questions, and growing through their mistakes.
