Since I was young, I have always enjoyed helping my friends with their work. Something about helping someone understand a new concept has always been extremely fulfilling to me. When I teach, I focus on helping my students understand why things work the way they do, so that they understand that the subjects they're studying aren't just a set of random formulas for them to memorize. My experience tutoring ranges from 4th grade to collegiate general education and STEM courses, and I am most comfortable teaching math or science.
I am currently a student at Harvard University studying Computer Science and Mathematics, and I am aiming for a dual degree (BA+ Masters) in both fields. I also hope to receive a teaching certification.
