As a passionate educator with a Master's degree in Graphic Design from the University of Iowa, I bring over 15 years of experience in tutoring and teaching a diverse range of students from Pre-K to adults. My specialty lies in Adobe Illustrator, where I enjoy guiding students through the creative process and witnessing their "aha" moments when concepts click. I tailor my lessons to meet individual needs, ensuring each student feels supported and engaged. I teach graphic design at a university and lead art classes at the Boys and Girls Club, where I focus on fostering a positive and interactive learning environment. Outside of teaching, I am committed to staying updated in my field through continuous reading and personal practice, which enhances my expertise and informs my teaching methods.
