As a dedicated educator with a Master's in Bilingual and Multicultural Education from the State University of New York at Brockport, I am passionate about inspiring students to engage deeply with language and literature. With over ten years of experience teaching middle and high school students in New York City, I have developed a student-centered approach that tailors instruction to meet diverse learning needs. I specialize in Creative Writing and utilize the Universal Design for Learning model to create inclusive, engaging lessons that foster critical thinking and reading comprehension. My goal is to instill a love for reading in every student, transforming their attitudes towards literature and empowering them with essential skills for their future endeavors. I take pride in the lasting connections I build with my students, many of whom continue to seek my guidance long after they graduate.
