As a dedicated educator with a Master's degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages from New York University, I have over 2 years of experience in tutoring ESL/ELL students. My teaching philosophy centers on creating a supportive and engaging learning environment where students feel empowered to express themselves. I tailor my approach to meet individual needs, conducting informal assessments to identify their goals and designing interactive activities that spark their interest in language learning. I am passionate about helping students gain confidence in their English or Chinese skills, and I find great joy in witnessing their progress. Outside of teaching, I enjoy exploring diverse cultures through travel and literature, which further enriches my understanding of language acquisition.
