Supporting students on their educational journey is deeply meaningful to me because I believe every learner deserves the opportunity to unlock their full potential. I find great joy in helping students gain confidence in their abilities, especially when they overcome challenges they once thought were insurmountable. Watching that transformation happen, when frustration turns into understanding, is what fuels my passion for tutoring.
My experience working with students spans several years, both in formal and informal settings. I've worked one-on-one and in small groups, tailoring lessons to meet individual learning styles and needs. Whether it's helping a high school student prepare for an exam or guiding a college student through complex assignments, I strive to create a supportive and encouraging environment that fosters growth.
I completed my Masters degree in Chemistry, and I am currently pursuing Research in a related field. My academic background has equipped me with both the technical knowledge and communication skills essential for effective tutoring.
I tutor a range of subjects, including Chemistry, Physics, Biology, and Maths. Of these, chemistry is my favorite. I enjoy making abstract concepts tangible and helping students see the connections between theory and real-world applications. It's rewarding to demystify topics that initially seem intimidating.
My teaching philosophy centers around patience, adaptability, and building a strong foundation of understanding. I encourage students to ask questions freely and aim to cultivate critical thinking rather than rote memorization. My tutoring style is interactive, using a mix of examples, analogies, and visual aids to make lessons engaging and accessible.
Outside of academia, I enjoy dancing, photography, travelling, cooking and exploring new cuisines. These interests help me stay curious and balanced, and I often draw on them to create relatable examples when teaching.

Graduate Degree: University of Alberta - Master of Science, Chemistry
Outside of academia, I enjoy creative and hands-on activities like dancing, photography, travelling and cooking, which help me stay mindful and observant, skills that also support my teaching. I love exploring nature through hiking and long walks, often finding inspiration and clarity in the outdoors. Cooking is another passion of mine; I enjoy experimenting with new recipes and learning about different cultures through their cuisines. These hobbies keep me grounded, curious, and open-minded, qualities I bring into every tutoring session.
