Elizabeth: Huntington tutor
Certified Tutor
I am a sophomore at Brandeis University majoring in American Studies and International and Global Studies on a pre-law track. My previous experience includes one-on-one tutoring sessions, teaching history classes, and acting as a teacher's assistant. I've always loved learning and discussing English and History so I'll be available to tutor those subjects. I can especially help with grammar, clarity, and engagement in writing, as well as active reading and writing historical analysis. I'll also take any chance I can get to learn more about history and would love to help review and teach any historical curiosities, especially in American history. As a student at Brandeis, I've become an editor for our independent student newspaper, The Justice which has helped me grow my abilities as a writer in a professional context, and while working towards my majors I've learned how to interpret and write about current events. I've always loved being in a classroom, and I'm very excited to help teach English and History. In my free time, I love to read, solve sudoku puzzles, and explore Boston with my friends.

Degree: Brandeis University - Bachelor's (in progress), American studies and International and Global Studies
As a student studying International and Global Studies, as well as American Studies, I've made it a hobby to keep up to date with current events, especially as a member of the Brandeis Society for International Affairs. I'm an avid reader, my favorite book is "If We Were Villains" by M.L. Rio and I would recommend it to anyone. I always love to listen to music, my favorite artists are Fleetwood Mac, Sabrina Carpenter, and Tom Petty. I also love to bake and at least attempt all the New York Times puzzles daily.
