I am a graduate from North Carolina State University! I received my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education with a concentration in STEM. I am a licensed K-6 educator. I am also an MTSS (Tier II and Tier III) coordinator and have completed the LETRS Science of Reading course. As a passionate and dedicated educator, I believe in the transformative power of one-on-one learning. Throughout my teaching career, I have worked with students of diverse ages, abilities, and backgrounds. I take pride in tailoring my approach to meet individual learning styles, whether that means breaking down complex concepts, providing real-world examples, or using positive reinforcement to build motivation. My focus is not only on improving academic performance, but also on fostering independent thinking and a genuine love for learning. I am highly organized, patient, and enthusiastic, with a strong belief in creating a supportive and engaging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. Whether helping a student catch up, prepare for exams, or deepen their understanding of a subject, I bring consistency, clarity, and encouragement to every session.
