My favorite thing in this world is the exchanging of knowledge. Whether in a school setting or in the workforce, I have found that a love for learning can bring a person beyond their own expectations. As a teacher and tutor, I have brought this love of learning into the lives and to the families of children all across the country.
I hold a degree in Early Childhood Education, Theater Arts and a Bachelors of Science in TV & Film Production. I am uniquely educated and trained to tutor students in multiple aspects of literacy from learning to read sight words to reciting Shakespeare. During my time in the entertainment industry, I have learned tips and tricks from creatives on how they accomplish big tasks and applied those to students struggling with workloads to alleviate the stress it can bring on.
I have a strong track record of improving children's academic and social confidence through tutoring in a way that is customized to their needs. As they grow, these needs change and it's important to have a tutor who is capable of revamping techniques for them.

Outside of educating, I love to perform and create. As an actress, I frequently perform Shakespeare and I work with a collective to produce new work in New York City. I give clothing items new life by "upcycling" old pieces of mine or items from thrift stores. Having always had a love of fashion, it is a great way to clear my closet while getting to be creative. My all time favorite hobby might be simply reading. I love being lost in a world made up entirely of words. You are free to use your imagination to fill in the blanks which in the end, gives a sense of ownership to the story.
