As a passionate educator with a Master's degree in English from Texas Tech University, I bring over five years of classroom experience and teach college composition courses, reading skills, research, and communication skills. My teaching philosophy centers on fostering a supportive learning environment where students feel empowered to explore complex texts and express their ideas confidently. I strive to tailor my approach to meet the unique needs of each student, promoting critical thinking and a love for literature and writing. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy reading all types of genres and I write poetry in my free time.
