As a licensed professional counselor-associate and a teacher of 10 years, I am passionate about helping students reach their goals in a supportive and uplifting environment. I hold a BA in Psychology and an MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and I am currently pursuing my PhD in Counselor Education. I have extensive knowledge in tailoring learning plans to students' needs and utilizing skills to identify where a student requires assistance. I tutor students in English, reading, writing, college applications, research, elementary/middle school math, ESL, psychology, and standardized tests. As a post-secondary student, I have a large library of study methods, research skills, and essay writing. My goal as a teacher is to help students aim for their highest potential by identifying where they need assistance, utilizing skills and techniques to help them, and encouraging them along the way.

A fun fact is that I am also a professional ballet dancer! I love to dance and to use my creative side to help me study. I love to read, rock climb, and I enjoy doing arts and crafts at night, at the end of the day. Teaching is my passion and something I feel called to do. After I receive my PhD, it is my goal to teach in higher education one day.
