I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Econometrics and Quantitative Economics at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Over the past year, I've worked as a math tutor for high school and college students, with a focus on college algebra. Through this experience, I've developed a deep appreciation for helping students build both confidence and competence in subjects they once found intimidating.

I tutor a range of math subjects, but my favorite to teach is college algebra. I enjoy breaking down complex ideas into simple, intuitive steps and watching students reach those "aha" moments. I believe tutoring is most effective when it's collaborative and when students feel heard, encouraged, and empowered to take ownership of their learning.

My teaching style is patient, structured, and adaptive. I aim to meet each student where they are and tailor sessions to their learning pace and goals. I find that consistent encouragement, clear explanations, and real-world examples help students stay engaged and motivated.

Outside of school and tutoring, I like to unwind by playing soccer and checking out new coffee shops around town. Whether it's a pickup game or just a great espresso, I enjoy staying active and exploring my surroundings. Tutoring has been a meaningful part of my life because I get to help others feel more confident in their studies while building real connections along the way.
