Certified Tutor

I am a proud graduate of Washington University in St. Louis where I received a B.A. in Philosophy-Neuroscience-Psychology and a B.A. in American Studies. As an undergraduate student, I tutored in the Writing Center at WashU where I worked on a broad range of academic and personal writing assignments. I have experience tutoring analytical, argumentative, and research writing across disciplines and am open to working with any student, regardless of what they are studying. We learn together! If I had to choose a favorite, I love working on Philosophy, Public Health, English, and Film/Media Studies papers.

In addition to academic writing, I also enjoy working with students on personal essays. I am open to tutoring college admissions essays and other applications materials that require personal reflection.

My tutoring style focuses on guiding writers towards successful finished products while centering students' voices at the heart of every session. I believe that teamwork and collaboration are essential for diving into writing and that anyone, no matter who they are, can be a writer.
