I earned a Ph.D. from the University of Florida in 2023, with a specialization in the Amazon Basin. There I focused my research on examining evolving food practices among pre-contact, late-precolonial, and contemporary riverine communities. As an environmental archaeologist, I explore the intersections between human societies and the natural environment.
