I'm Fred Kacanowski, a passionate language tutor specializing in Spanish and Arabic. I've developed a deep love for both languages through years of study, travel, and translation experience, and I enjoy helping others not only learn to speak them, but also connect with the people and their cultures.
Over the past several years, I've tutored learners at various levels from colleagues and students to various people I have met looking to learn some words to travel abroad. My approach is hands-on and immersive, focused on building confidence through practical use and repetition while employing real-life examples to aid in comprehension. I believe language learning should be engaging and empowering rather than memorizing, and I strive to make each session meaningful, encouraging, and tailored to the learner's goals.

My hobbies and interests include learning and speaking languages, travelling both inside and outside the USA, photographing landscapes and scenery, spending time with my pets and animals, trying new foods, meeting and connecting with new people around the world, learning about global cultures and current events, and learning economics and business.
