Anthea: Framingham tutor
Certified Tutor
I am an undergraduate student at the University of Western Ontario, double majoring in Pharmacology and Interdisciplinary Medical Sciences. In high school, I taught student-led classes for medical and business competitions, developing skills in public speaking, business, marketing, hospitality, medical terminology, and forensics. At university, I've worked as a part-time STEAM camp instructor for elementary students and currently coach fitness and paddling for the Western Dragon Boat Team.
My passions for biology, public speaking, and art shape the way I teach -grounded in personal understanding and creativity. Having completed challenging courses in microbiology, immunology, biochemistry, physiology, neuroscience, and pharmacology, I know how overwhelming the material can be. That's why I draw from my diverse notes, resources, and experience to ensure students feel confident and prepared. More importantly, I aim to inspire a genuine love of learning that extends beyond the classroom.
In my spare time, I enjoy painting, weightlifting, paddling, and spending time with my cats.
