I hold a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Longwood University, a Master's in Business from Virginia Commonwealth University, and a Master's in Computer Information Systems from Boston University. My career has included roles in finance, data analytics, and information technology, which has strengthened my ability to break down complex concepts clearly and efficiently.

I've had the joy of teaching English as a second language to students aged 5 to 18 for two years, and I love working with all ages. One of my favorite subjects has always been English. I truly enjoy helping students improve their reading and writing skills. Whether it's crafting strong essays or improving reading comprehension, I find joy in helping students express themselves with confidence.

In addition to English and writing, I'm passionate about relational databases and working with data. I especially enjoy tutoring these learning SQL, helping students understand how to structure queries and interpret data effectively. I also tutor subjects related to business, technology, and analytics, including introductory Python.

I believe learning is most effective when it's engaging and tailored to the student's unique strengths. My tutoring style is patient, supportive, and goal-oriented. I like to meet students where they are and build from there.

Outside of tutoring, I enjoy reading, keeping up with information and data trends, and spending time with my dog. I'm always curious and love learning, which helps me connect with students and support them in reaching their goals.
