I am a junior at Lindenwood University pursuing two degrees. One is in Mathematics with an Emphasis in Actuarial Science, and the second is a degree in Data Science. I am a student athlete, and I have enjoyed the challenge of managing my time with both my sport and school. Being a student athlete has also crossed over to tutoring. I enjoy the challenge of facing a problem or question and attacking it with the student. My teaching style would be responsive. I like to get a feel for the best way the student learns and adjust to how they learn best. My goal with every student is for them to achieve a complete, well-rounded understanding of the topic. In general, I also like to include a mix of examples and theory to give them different aspects of a topic.

My interests include sports, reading, hanging with friends, and my faith. I am a very active person, and sports has been my way to do that since as far back as I can remember. I am thankful to be still playing sports for a collegiate team. Reading is something I have recently gotten into. I have enjoyed reading all different kinds of books, but some of my favorite involve mental health and attaining mental strength. My faith is also something that has become a lot more important in the last few years. I am thankful that I go to a university where I have a ton of resources to help my faith grow.
