I love teaching, and the joy I feel when I see that a student I am helping finally understands a difficult concept is not easy to express in words. I am the type of teacher who will never give up on you! Each one of my students matters to me personally. I am going to help you feel that sense of accomplishment as you become fluent in English as a Second Language. We will work together to determine what you want to learn and how to help you succeed!
I have 25 years of teaching experience in various disciplines, including 17 years as a learning coach/tutor through Connections Academy, a K-12 online charter school. I have a B.S. degree as a Teacher/Trainer from Lake Erie College in Painesville, OH, USA. I also have a 360-hour TEFL/TESOL Certification, including 60 hours of training in teaching Business English and 180 hours of training in teaching English to online students through Bridge Education Group, accredited through the U.S. Dept. of Education.

My hobbies are: horseback riding (dressage, hunt seat, western pleasure), singing, playing the recorder (especially having jazz sessions with my son), cooking from scratch, going for walks, and gardening. I have 3 barn cats (they love my recorder music, they come when I call, and my cats actually follow me as I go for walks). I enjoy exercising - especially with taekwondo. One of the most important life lessons that I learned from the 7 years that it took for me to get my black belt in taekwondo is that a black belt master is simply a white belt student who never gave up. And that is the attitude that I will share with you - together, we will never give up!
