As a graduate from The University of British Columbia with a Fine Arts: Performance specialization, I have had the pleasure of working in Film and TV, Theatre, Voice Over and stunts. My passion for rhetoric and language propelled me into coaching English and Essay Writing, Debate, Drama, and Public Speaking at Opus Academy in Vancouver BC. However, my passion lies in teaching Performance and Public Speaking, with a focus on the breath and voice, movement, the psychology of performance, and nervous system regulation. They are so many components to any kind of performance beyond "confidence". I believe accessible, trauma-informed, and tailored education is of the utmost importance, and a standard I try to meet in coaching. On my days off I treat myself to a relaxing round of archery, reading, a good movie, a well brewed cup of tea, and a slice of cake. It's the little things really.
