Certified Tutor

I am a recent graduate of a small liberal arts college, Ursinus College, in the outskirts of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I graduated with a Bachelor Degree of Arts in Studio Art, Chemistry, and Anthropology. I hope to someday apply my interdisciplinary skills to conservation and restoration of fine art objects and historical artifacts. Because I took so many different classes in college, I feel I have a strong background for tutoring in chemistry, history, art history, anthropology, and math. I have been tutoring for over 8 years, both in high school and college, and am looking to continue tutoring now after my graduation while I work on my applications to graduate school in the next few years. Based on my studies in anthropology classes, I recognize that everyone learns differently and comes from unique backgrounds. My goal is to meet students where they are and support their learning, especially in areas where traditional methods may fall short.

I enjoy walking in nature and around Philadelphia, going to the beach, cooking and baking, and creating/sculpting with my hands and many different media.
