Certified Tutor
I've always believed that the right support can completely change how someone feels about learning. That's what pushed me to start tutoring over five years ago, and it's what still drives me today. Whether it's helping a student finally understand a tricky math concept or seeing their confidence grow over time, I genuinely love being part of that process.
As a Mechanical Engineering student with a Mechatronics minor at the University of Calgary, I've spent a lot of time solving problems, but I've learned that good tutoring is more than just explaining answers. It's about listening, adapting, and figuring out what really clicks for each student. I've worked with students from middle school through to university prep, across subjects like physics, chemistry, math, and test prep (SAT, ACT), and I always try to bring patience, encouragement, and a bit of humour to every session.
Every student is different, and that's what keeps tutoring meaningful for me. I want each person I work with to feel heard, supported, and capable of reaching their goals, not just in school, but beyond.
