Certified Tutor

I am an undergraduate student at the University of Michigan studying Public Health and Anthropology. I have a lot of experience working with elementary and middle school students through formal tutoring sessions as well as more informal volunteer work, mostly in early reading, writing, and math skills. I currently work as a writing consultant at the UofM Writing Support Center where students bring in their work and we spend 1 hour long sessions addressing their concerns together. This position has helped me gain a lot of skills and expertise in tutoring all forms of writing, from personal, to creative, to professional. I also took accelerated math courses and am prepared to tutor any K-12 math classes. Outside of work, I love writing, playing the piano, and spending time outdoors!
