Certified Tutor
I am a licensed school psychologist with a deep understanding of how students learn and what helps them thrive. I earned my undergraduate degree in Psychology with a developmental concentration and a minor in Integrative Biology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, followed by master's and specialist-level degrees in Educational Psychology and School Psychology from Loyola University Chicago.
I'm passionate about helping students build the tools they need to feel capable and confidentnot just in one subject, but across their learning lives. I specialize in executive functioning, study skills, and academic organization, and I have extensive experience supporting neurodiverse learners, including students with ADHD, Autism, or learning differences. I also tutor English Language Arts, Writing, Psychology, and Biology. I love each subject because they encourage connection, curiosity, and critical thinking, and I aim to support students in discovering their own voice and confidence within them along the way.
My tutoring style is warm, responsive, and collaborative. I focus on helping students recognize their strengths, set meaningful goals, and develop strategies that stick so they leave each session with greater clarity and a stronger sense of agency.
Outside of education, I enjoy creative writing, watching movies with sharp dialogue, and savoring a really great meal, especially when shared with good company. I believe learning should be both challenging and joyful, and I aim to bring that spirit into every session.
I'm excited to learn together!

• Creative writing (usually fueled by snacks and too many open tabs) • Watching movies with sharp dialogue or unnecessarily dramatic scores • Reading everything from fiction to psych research (sometimes both at once) • Dancing (17 years of training and still breaking into spontaneous twirls) • Singing showtunes like I’m auditioning for a musical no one asked for • Cozy gaming—give me a good quest, a home to build, and a customizable wardrobe, and I'M SOLD • Watching basketball (especially women’s! Definitely have caught the Fever fever.) • Trying new restaurants and pretending I’m a food critic • Long walks that accidentally turn into full life audits • Traveling, especially when there’s a good playlist and no itinerary • Building community in small, meaningful ways (often with baked goods) • Romantasy wannabe BookTok-er • Finding ways to bring Beyoncé into any conversation (success rate: high)
