Certified Tutor
As someone with experience tutoring both in the undergraduate space as well as the elementary and middle school setting, I am thrilled to be joining Varsity Tutors to continue working with students. In the spring of 2021 I graduated magna cum laude from the University of Vermont with my B.A. in biology and a minor in chemistry. I have always been passionate about science, health, and working closely within a team, and I am excited to work with students in the sciences, among other subjects. After graduation I spent time as a clinical research coordinator at Brigham and Women's Hospital, where I worked collaboratively with a team of providers in the field of diabetes clinical research in both the inpatient and outpatient settings. In 2024, I began my medical education at the New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine to officially begin my journey towards becoming a physician. I truly love learning, and I would say my tutoring approach mimics my approach to medical care: meeting people where they are. Tutoring is not one size fits all, and I enjoy working with students to find a mode of learning that works best for them and using a collaborative approach to make the session as exciting and enriching as possible. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, spending time outdoors, and exercising.
