Margaret: Cambridge tutor
Certified Tutor
As a recent graduate of James Madison University with a degree in French and International Relations, I am passionate about supporting students in their unique learning journeys and helping them achieve their personal and academic goals. My approach to tutoring emphasizes meeting students where they arewhether they need help building foundational skills or refining advanced conceptswhile creating a positive and encouraging learning environment. I bring both academic training and real-world experience to my work, including six weeks of study-abroad homestays in France that deepened my language proficiency and cultural understanding. I was honored to receive a merit-based scholarship in recognition of my excellence in French to fund my studies abroad. I look forward to sharing my knowledge and enthusiasm for language and global engagement with students.
In my free time, I love relaxing with my cat, Garfield, who's always up for a cozy evening in. I enjoy spending time with friends, whether we're out exploring or just catching up over coffee. I'm an avid reader and always have a book on hand, and I also enjoy unwinding by binge-watching my favorite shows on Netflix. These hobbies help me recharge and keep a good balance between work and life.
