I am excited to help your child on furthering their education in math! I am incredibly passionate about math and have been tutoring or teaching some form of middle school and high school math for 15 years. I am a licensed teacher in Texas. I have taught 6th grade math for over 8 years in both Texas and New Mexico. I have taught Texas State Standards as well as Common Core State Standards.

I am qualified to teach up to Algebra. I currently tutor neighborhood high schoolers and am comfortable tutoring up to statistics. I have my Masters in Elementary Education with an Emphasis in Professional Learning Communities, as well as a Masters in Secondary Education, both from Grand Canyon University.

I am a strong believer in differentiation when it comes to learning. I understand that not every one learns the same and it is important to get to to know the child a little to make sure we can effectively help the child learn. I will make sure that everyone understands the important key words in the lesson as well as lots of examples to make sure the child is understanding.
