Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of the University of West Alabama with a B.S. in Elementary Education, and I've had the privilege of teaching and tutoring learners from a variety of backgrounds. I plan to continue my own educational journey by pursuing a master's degree starting this fall.

My recent classroom experience includes teaching first and third grade in Alabama public schools, where I developed and implemented differentiated lesson plans tailored to individual learning styles and academic needs. I've also taught reading to 4th8th grade students during multiple summers, helping them build confidence and skills in reading comprehension and literacy. In every role, I've been recognized for my ability to connect with students, build trust, and create engaging, effective learning environments both in person and online.

As a tutor, I bring patience, structure, and a deep understanding of how to adapt instruction to meet each learner's unique needs. I specialize in reading comprehension, writing, phonics, and elementary math, and I'm especially skilled at helping future educators prepare for standardized exams like the Elementary Praxis. I believe education is a powerful tool that can open doors and change lives, and I strive to make every learning experience meaningful, accessible, and enjoyable.
