Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of the University of Cincinnati. I received my Bachelor's degree in Communication, and my Master's degree in Education, with a graduate certificate in Women's Studies.
I am the daughter of a retired educator and I have dedicated my career to educating and supporting students. I was taught and firmly believe that education is the key to most opportunities. I have worked as a public elementary school teacher, a college professor, a higher education professional, a public school administrator, and a private school administrator and faculty member. I have also worked previously as an elementary school tutor.
I enjoy working with elementary age students and covering a variety of subjects. My favorite subjects to tutor in are reading, language arts, and writing.
Outside of work, I am the mom of a smart and loving 10 year old. In my spare time I love reading both the traditional way and audio books and I am usually reading one of each at any given time. I also love teaching and taking Zumba.
